Refocus That Please - by Mike Griffith

September, Friday the 13th! That's our next meeting.  This is our annual show & tell session, so bring all those goodies you found over the summer. If you didn't make it to the NSA Convention then hopefully you managed to beg, borrow or steal from other sources. I lucked out and acquired some very rare Atlanta stereoviews, but the trade was a bit brutal. I'm still not too sure what I gave up.

For the program we will have Steve and Suzanne Hughes’ "Welcome to Charleston" show for the NSA meet this coming summer of 2003.  Our meeting is at the Congregational Church at 2676 Clairmont Road (about 1 1/2 blocks South of I-85).

For our programs for the coming year, Larry and I have talked about showing some of the past presentations on the history of Atlanta. They haven't been shown in over eight years and we now have so many new members that we thought it would be great to see them again. We are also open to any suggestions ya'll might have.

Hope to see ya'll there on lucky Friday the 13th !!

Editor’s note:

There are still some positions available for the 2003 NSA convention.  If you are interested in working on the convention, be sure to come to the meeting this month.

For show & tell I will be bringing a super new card viewer.  Bring one of your favorite cards (old or new) and see what it really looks like.

Also, be sure to comb your hair and wear clean clothes – I am going to utilize my twinned digital camera to redo the club photographs.  The last photos were done so long ago, that a Viewmaster camera was used!
