Refocus That Please - by Mike Griffith

DO NOT GO TO CHURCH !!  at least not the Congregational Church that we had been meeting at. Last month, for those who were unable to attend, we found darkness, much mud, lots of rain and no place to park. We eventually did find our way in and the 13 of us who came on Friday the 13th, had a good time once inside.

The "Welcome To Charleston" program was excellent -- made you want to go right now and get things started. The show & tell session was quite interesting, with a lot of people participating.

This month's meeting is being held on Friday, October  11th out at the lake club that Larry belongs to. It is a beautiful location for those who have not been out to see it.  (Map enclosed) For those coming  north from Buford turn right at Howard's Hardware, actual street address is 2881 Creek Drive, Duluth (not far from Gwinnett Mall). Look for long driveway down thru the gates.

This month we are showing the stereo programs on "Atlanta" and "The Cotton States" that were shown at the NSA Convention in Atlanta in 1995. I provided the old stereos and Larry did all the work to make these excellent shows. They are well worth seeing if you have not seen antique stereos projected.

Hope to see you all there. Come a little early, sit on the porch and enjoy the quiet and the lake. Should be pretty by that time with some Fall color.

Take care, Mike

There will be a meeting of the NSA Charleston 2003 Convention committee at 1 PM, Sunday, October 20, at the lake club, so don’t throw away that map.  There are still positions open, so come by if you are interested in participating.  In particular, we still need a workshop coordinator.
