Refocus That Please - by Mike Griffith

Last month's meeting was our Christmas Party and it was well attended, with a lot of good conversation and stereo presentations. The food was superb, with many thanks to Julia Moor for getting it all together for us (with assistance from Marilyn).

The program included a "Chip & Dale" 3-D cartoon called "Working for Peanuts" and our club's own traveling exhibit from 1993. This presentation included some of our club members' best work from ten years ago. Larry wants to put together another one from all the great work we have from our present members.

This month's meeting is the 2nd Friday, January 10, 2003. We meet again (and will continue to meet here) at the Briarcliff Baptist Church. Get off I-85 at Clairmont and turn right on Briarcliff Road. The Church is on your left.  Park near the entrance that says "OFFICE".  Walk all the way down the hall to the room marked "PAL".

IT’S COMPETITION NIGHT - so bring your slides and cards.  Let’s see what you all have done. (You can still bring "old" slides for show & tell.)

Also bring your checkbooks as membership dues are now up. Give them to Marilyn.  It's $20 for single members and $30 for couples.  No one signed up for refreshments, so if you want to take your turn, give me a call at 770-925-9085.  See you on the 10th of January.

The Charleston 2003 NSA Convention Committee will meet at Marilyn Morton’s house on Sunday, January 12, at 3 PM.  There are still good positions available, so come on by!
