Refocus That Please - by Mike Griffith

For those of us who love to eat, last month's Christmas Party was quite an event, with Plenty of great food and a chance to relax and chat with each other. It was good to talk to some members who hadn't been there for awhile and just to hear what everyone is up to.

Larry showed some great slides of Las Vegas taken from the blimp ride. When one considers that the Las Vegas Blimp was in business for only six months, you get an idea of the rarity of the stereoviews. Bill Walton brought some of his famous and military slides and they looked great projected. Bert Arps showed some fine scenics that he had taken.

This months meeting is the 2nd Friday of the month, January 11th at the Congregational Church on Clairmont Avenue. It is COMPETITION Night so bring those slides, recent or ancient, and let's get a good example of everyone's work. Marilyn Morton has the refreshments.

Looking forward to seeing you all there and wishing you a great New Year for 2002.

Remember, the meeting is Friday, January 11th at 7:30 at the Congregational Church. The church is at 2676 Clairmont Road (about 1 1/2 blocks south of I-85).
