Refocus That Please - by Mike Griffith (as transcribed by the editor)

This month is the annual Christmas Party.  The program is casual with Larry Moor bringing some selected programs and everyone else bringing some show and tell.  If you have a digital stereo camera, they are the featured equipment.  There will also be the election of officers.

During the festivities, everyone snacks on the Christmas buffet.  Julia Moor arranges the buffet and may call you with requests.  If you have some munchy which you would like to provide, bring it.  But don’t feel obligated – there is always lots of food.

Last meeting we held nominations for new officers.  Bill Moll was nominated for President.  Lamar Kennedy was nominated for Vice-President, but since he wasn’t there and allegedly wanted to retire from the position after 14 years, the nomination failed for lack of a second.  So that position is still open.  The V.P. responsibilities are to get the meeting started if the President isn’t there.  Larry still does most of the work.  See ya’ there.

November meeting report:

There was a good turnout of people.  The modern camera show & tell had quite a few cameras.  These included an RBT, a FED, an Image Tech, and lots of Nimslos.  One of these was a portrait Nimslo with a 100 ft. roll capability and lots of other unusual features.  Also there was a Techno-Nimslo, which is modified for macro and two image advance.

Quite a few people brought View-Master reels including some nice ones of Georgia and sentimental reels of Siegfried & Roy.
